Re: belt pouch

Okay, I should probably make a new thread for this but as a follow-up, here's a definitive belt pouch... from 1300-1100 BC! Wizard Bag from Hvidegaard DO-2330.jpg Hvidegaard_Overview.jpg https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fnatmus.dk%2Fhistorisk-vide...

That's what matters for our purposes here. I was simply curious about historical examples to inform the design an...

Re: belt pouch

I’m sketching out a pattern for my own and I decided to do some research on the early medieval period pouches for inspiration. What I’ve come t...

Re: belt pouch

Maybe I’ve just been staring at turn-shoes for too long but something seems rather authentic about doing it that way. At least for an earlier period of pouches.

Quite fascinating to see the subtle things that might have influenced the Professor as he created the legendarium.

Re: New version of my original Dunedain Star turtle brooch

Oooh, very pretty! Honestly, this is really kinda selling me on the turtle design vs the cut-out circle that I had been imagining.
