Re: The Sword Beneath the Cloak (Odigan work)

Awesome! Definitely nailed the visual aesthetic.

Does it come in longsword size lol? Alternatively If you shrunk it down about a foot it would also make an amazing design for an eket.

My hat is off to Odigan for yet another job brilliantly executed.

Re: 2019 S.W.O.R.D. Game

Seems like this game has lost its momentum! Got any ideas to re-invigorate it, or has its time passed? I’m still here. I swear all I’ve done is watch it rain here in Illinois. My work is also at the peak of its busiest season. Im also wrapping up what is going to become my new everyday common man r...

Re: 3rd Age Dunedain Ranger - Complete Functional Kit Breakdown

I'm not sure how long that I've been with the forum officially, maybe 6 or 7 years? Anyhow, it was a random internet search to see if any other oddballs like me existed and sought Middle-earth with the same passion and realism that brought up a picture of a guy in a cloak, jeans, and t-shirt carryin...

Re: 3A Dunedain Trekker's Iron Cauldron [V2]

Very well designed and executed! Ever since seeing Elleth’s I’ve been making sketches and eyeing my forge and making more sketches and eying my forge. In keeping with our tradition it may not be long before we see a V3 version...

Re: 2019 S.W.O.R.D. Game

It’s a Hanwei Tinker longsword blade blank with The Printed Armory hilt furniture. The edge still needs work but it’s a fair handling blade all in all.

Re: 2019 S.W.O.R.D. Game

For the sake of not stalling the game further I’m going to go ahead and forfeit my turn to the next in line. The last two weekends to get something posted have been a bust and work will have me swamped this weekend.

I’m up. I attempted to get something this past weekend but we had a near constant rain. Stay tuned!

I’ll take it Peter should Greg’s contact or Ghostsoldier not want it.

Re: 2019 S.W.O.R.D. Game

Nice! This might be my favorite one that we’ve done to date. I just wish I’d had had the time to kit up for it. I love that we are building actual in world function into this challenge.

Re: Boromir bag build

Really cool. Maybe not canon but it sort of puts me in mind of a Middle Earth version of a Roman pera bag. I could see the common Gondorian foot soldier carrying a plainer variant of this for field rations and the like.

Not my finest, but been busy, running out of light today, and snow/sleet the next few days soooo... Re: 2019 S.W.O.R.D. Game

ZH9iqNk_LjA https://youtu.be/ZH9iqNk_LjA I was seeing if I could put the arrow in the O. No dice but not to shabby considering I’ve hardly drawn the warbow all winter. I did manage to nail the two overlapped sections of privacy fence together though. EDIT: Just so no one thinks I’m a wasteful range...
