I do not have the gear or skill to make my own gear to test out different carrying stylesright now, so I was wondering how all you rangers carry your gear, and if it is comfortable for long periods at a time.

I have a pair of those, one problem is the stiching, it is big and lets dew and wetness in, I have repeatedly tried to waterproof them but it doesn't work, but I hope yours work a little better than mine. I am looking for knee high leather ranger boots that have thin soles, and are waterproof/waterproofable.

I really like that ranger pack, but I am wondering what kind of leather you used. What thickness of leather?

I am trying to think of a comfortable way to carry a bedroll on my back. Any ideas would be helpful.
