Re: The Sword Beneath the Cloak (Odigan work)

Congratulations Elleth, The finished product looks great and I can see it being very handy in the bush and for fighting in a melee. Odigan did a fantastic job of bringing your initial design to life in steel! By chance did you have him do the engraving to the pommel that you had in your concept? I l...

Re: Albion Barron sword

Congratulations Taylor. I have owned two Albions in the past and they are fantastic swords. With the price of the Baron I am not sure how much I would do to it, though I do know someone that ended up having a custom blade mad for the guard and pommel of an Albion sword and sold the bare blade. If yo...

Re: Baurnseax with fairly historical sheath- Pic Heavy

That looks great! I especially like the shape of the blade and the work on the sheath looks great as well. The slot for the Nagl is a nice adaptation of the traditional seax sheath!

Re: Elenglin - Sword of Westernesse

Peter - since you asked for information, I tried out that sword dynamics calculator I’ve seen folks talking about. I can’t promise I captured it perfectly, but I think this is about right: merf-elenglin-dunedain-sword-dynamics.jpg Is it just me, or did you photoshop the blade profile into that ...

It really is Elleth! I also really like the piece that he did for Greg. I think that they both convey what you were both going for! Congratulations once again.

That looks great! Congratulations Elleth. I am a big fan of what Odigan did with the bolsters. They really bring the knife together as a whole.

That looks great Gulli! I have always admired Owen's blade work. You have taken it to the next level with the grip and pommel. This looks like it would take a big bite out of a warg.!

Those are both great looking! Do you have any more pictures of your sword or knife/seax? I would also love to see a picture of the dunadan spear.

Re: What has it got in its pocketses? .. Pt 1, Paying your way

Thank you very much for the offer Straelbora. I appreciate the offer but think that it is time that I try my hand at making things like this for myself! At least until I get frustrated and just buy it that is! I have to see about making a trip down there one day as you are not that far away. I reall...
