Looser trouser would be problematic in a woodland.

Subject to catching, ripping, etc.

I think something closer fitting made of leather over fine woolen hose would be my choice.

Leather also works better for riding on horses.

They aren't going to do something dumb and call it "new next" or something like that are they? I'm not sure. I seem to remember them referring to it as the Anniversary Edition. But that may just have been a convenient way to identify the new edition and not necessarily the official name. ...
