Re: An Adventure in Dwarven Summer Kit – Pic Heavy

Thankyou, both of you, for the good comments :P What a cool adventure! I like that tunic design - the little sleeve bits are extra interesting. :) Also... I continue to be amazed at how fast your'e turning things out. Seems it was just a week or so ago when you were pondering hats, and there it is a...

Re: "Warm Enough or Cool Enough at Need": Modern Mist Thread and the Galadhrim Cloak

Did you have a pattern that you designed/made/used for the hood? How did you attach it to the cloak in order to maintain the lines for the tent? Are you talking to me or SierraStrider, the original poster? If your talking to me, mine was never intended to be a tent, only a cloak. I may be wrong, ho...

An Adventure in Dwarven Summer Kit – Pic Heavy

There seems to have been a heat wave in Erebor of late. It's brought some most unnatural weather that can only have been caused by some, as yet unknown, evil sorcerer seeking to weaken our defenses. For us local dwarves are quite un-use-to it. Work to foil the plot is underway, however, in the mean ...

Re: knife sheath attatchments - what's your favorite?

Hmmmm..... Well, my favorite is one where the knife sits on the small of my back parallel to the belt, making it completely invisible under a cloak or long jacket. The only possible issue being that I stabbed a hole in my cloak putting the knife back  :P

Re: Where has it got its pocketses?

You are quite right, there does seem to be no mention of where pockets are in any of the books. That's something that puzzeled me for a while. In the end I came to the conclusion that if even troll's have pockets then the idea must be well enough known in middle earth, for people to sew pockets to c...

Re: "Warm Enough or Cool Enough at Need": Modern Mist Thread and the Galadhrim Cloak

Looks very cool...how is it stealth wise? In my experience, gore-tex is kind of raspy and makes lots of noise. I tried a similar idea and made a cloak to the same pattern as my oil cloth one from man made waterproof fabric. I thought I'd try it because it would be much lighter to carry and breathab...

Welcome to the forum!
That seems like a good choice for the contents of a pouch to me, you seem to have covered most things. The only thing I can think is you may want more than one arrowhead?
