I can't help but think if you took three eyebolts, opened the eye of one passed it though the other eyes of the other two and then closed it would work just as well and be a lot cheaper. There are reported accounts of silk being worn to assist in the removal of arrows. It appears that while the silk is cut resistant it doesn't stop the penetration of arrows so the surgeon would simply gather the silk around the arrow and pull the arrow out without fear of the arrow head breaking off...
