Re: Sword Belt/Scabbard Rigs
Mike, did your Strider belt come from Blades by Brown? Why yes it did! I ended up selling the rig because I just didn't connect with the Borderwatch but man do I wish I could score that belt again. I should have kept the belt and kick myself for not doing just that. Mike was that a Crecy bladed Boa...

Re: any thoughts
Do not sell pool noodles short. True they are less damaging the some other things. But they are also quite difficult to cut correctly, due to the amount of give. They are excelent in showning you just how good or bad your blade angle is. Just getting through the target does not mean you have cut wel...

Re: any thoughts
OK OK OK. yes money is tight, I understand. a couple of years back I sold almost all my swords, pole arms and I have yet to replace my armour. Believe me I understand. It also does not change what i said before. remember that a sword in todays world is not something you need "RIGHT NOW". Y...

Re: any thoughts
I have the Valhalla line Warder. designed by John Ludemo. great sword. the great thing about the higher end Valiant swords is you get a real scabbard and suspension for the price. And on a historical note, The scabbard was often quite more expensive then the sword itself. So ponder that when making ...

Re: edible whatsits
Pete all those things are great and very tasty. However do not eat the American Tortouse(Box Turtle) they really like to eat mushrooms. and they do not discriminate about which are poisonous or not. Toxins build up and that can make your day really bad!!!!! Mike I live about 40 miles north of New Yo...

Re: SBG back yard test cutting.
All I can say is that the only CS swiord I am familiar with is thier Gross messer. great cutter, but nothing special. as to the rest of thier line I have no comment. However I have heard people say good and bad things. Mike Mike (or anyone else) have you seen/held/used any of the cold steel blades? ...

Re: SBG back yard test cutting.
First never buy a sword the is made from stainless steel. Stainless makes good knives, but is to brittle for sword length weapons. Second price is a good guide. However tnat is not always true. there are some very expensive swords out there" VERY ". That i would not consider a sword. and t...

Re: Arrow Sock Project
Just one question, How many Naugas' did you need to kill for all that Nauga hide? Mike Greg inspired me to craft an arrow sock a while ago, and I just recently got to work on it. My family and I moved to a new house a few months ago, and we had a couple old couches which I stripped of their artifici...
