Re: Greetings From Alabama

Oh yes, I was very active on slinging.org a couple of years ago. I went by the same name that I do on this forum. Great bunch of guys, I still drop in from time to time to see how they are doing.

Re: Axes

Another option for the axes if you don't want to carry a lot of weight, but still want the chopping ability of a two handed tool, would be to take a hawk like the CS Norse hawk, and replace the handle with their 30" handle. The increased length really makes the hawk head work a lot harder, doin...

Re: Greetings From Alabama

Thanks for the warm welcome! I take it that you guys like pictures here? My keen ranger senses are telling me this of course  Well, here's one of my wife and I from the same day that my other picture came from, but before I bought my hood. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx260/Brian_Grubbs/...

Greetings From Alabama

Hello everyone! I found the forum here while searching to see what other people had done with the Tandy frontiersman boot pattern. One of your posts showed up, and as soon as I started looking around, I knew I was home. To give a little background on myself, I've been a Tolkien fanatic since I was e...
