Re: New Big Clothing Project!

HOLYCAPTAINKITUPDATE, BATAN! In my efforts to put together appropriate winter clothing, I have nearly missed winter entirely. That being said, I'm driving an hour to Placerville in a week to the snow for my last chance to wear a crap-ton of wool this season. I got hold of a nice pile of wool blanket...

If I ever find myself in the UK, I'm gonna look you up so we can go have a side of bacon on that hillside and puff on some pipes for a bit.

Re: Jump on it Deals

Found a pretty much to-scale hobbit "sword", a dagger which I've always thought to be about the length that Sting would have been, with a leaf blade too. Maybe slightly shorter than sting was meant to be, but it's pretty nice nonetheless. Fairly old, so it's banged up a bit, but someone he...

Re: Searching for Women's Faire Clothing

Alright, we're squared away. In addition to the dress in the following photo, she's going to be wearing an old green cloak I've got lying around that she's pretty much claimed as hers (microfiber with a satin lining...pretty fancy schmancy).

Re: Why do people have to be so Evil?

I don't know if you already have a reason/catalyst for your pair of adventurers (I believe I remember there being two main characters, yourself and a partner, in your story) going on their quest or what have you, but the destruction of a loved place certainly would give them reason enough to go out ...

Re: Why do people have to be so Evil?

While you're replanting there and such, here's a thought. You might write something into your movie script about orcs burning villages or sacred places or something, and do a small bit of filming while it's burned out. It'd be easy to work this into your film, and then when you get around to filming...

We ARE in wench country. 'Tis dangerous, let me tell you... I *think* I've got this figured out. I've found something that's gonna work. To answer your question, ken, she's learning to Sew, but there really isn't enough time with her schedule as busy as it is to pull something together with this sho...
