Re: MA, but not WMA
Great to here about your TKD training. Although a students skill is mostly because of his effort, a good teacher is a must. I'm glad you found one. I have been training in Okinawian Karate for 30 years this past March and taught for over 20 years. I just do private lessons now. I hope you stick with...

Re: New Toy
Good looking horse bow. My wife has been shooting hers for a year and is very accurate. They are a real trick to string.
She picked it up at http://www.attilasarchery.com/shop/

Re: Newish Ranger
Welcome back,
I'm 6'2'' and find a long bow works best for my height and long arms, my wife because of her stature prefers to shoot the recurve or a horse bow....Uhm, she thinks they are prettier than my long bow too.

Re: History of the Middle Earth Ranger Forum
I wasn't around in the begining and have no memories of Andy, but I agree with caedmon that a vision statement for the forum is important. For myself being a fan of Tolkien and his vision lead me to many other books, hobbies and games, but it all goes back to Tolkien's works. It is great to branch o...

Huzzah!, for the grand welcome. Nice to hear from Rangers Gondain and Mirimaran with Kentucky roots. I'll make sure I get some pics up soon of my gear for Kiriana. I must admit, I love looking at the pics of all your kits. Thanks Ringulf for the info on the RA fan fiction, I'll head right over there...

New Member Intro.
Greetings fellow Rangers. I grew up reading Robin Hood and Lord of the Rings as a kid, spent my teen years playing DND ( always a ranger character, by the way) with my two brothers. Once married started going to Ren Faires with my lovely wife, we still enjoy doing that. Started doing traditional arc...
