Virtually any hardened steel will throw sparks. If you don't happen to have one you can use a fine file. It's a good all purpose sharpening tool anyway. These are simply covers for glass bottles or new leather covers for a hard and a soft bladdered bota.
I've yet to try the leather jack type, but I'll get around to it sometime.

This is a German pack but the price is right. I'd replace the snaps with regular buckles and remove thw side pouches and replace with straps.
2 for $ 20 you can't go wrong.
