Re: Ranger Commission Document
Okay, changed a few things up from the above but I think they came out okay. I probably won't list these as an item in my shops but simply keep them in my archives in case someone comes looking for such in the future. Not sure how many on here do 4th Age besides myself but if this might apply, no ch...

Re: Iron Hills Dwarf Cosplay and persona
Persona looks great! I used to go to Conventions years ago, back when they weren't so worried about the weaponry but now if you don't have latex, you ain't getting in :P - (and understandable all things in the world today considered). I say work up some real versions to use out in the field and keep...

Re: Ranger Commission Document
Just got the seals in and I have to make a correction - the Faramir one is 50mm and one-sided, so both are 50mm in size. Oh, and size of document is 11" x 17" parchment.

Ranger Commission Document
My business is document props - it's what I do for a living. I've been playing around with the idea of a Ranger commission that could be issued from Faramir or King Elessar. Some of this idea has come from gamers and LARPers who wanted such a document for a character but I thought I could offer it t...

King Elessar's Court
What are your ideas on where King Elessar held court? Do you think he would use Minas Tirith until Annuminas was rebuilt or set up a temporary establishment near the ruins?

Re: Cloak and Back Quiver
The strap goes under the cloak so no need for a slit at center line (of the cloak I think you mean). The one slit in the back is enough to accommodate the quiver and the strapping system. The quiver is very secure and is fleece lined so not much rattling around. There's brass hooks that hook onto th...

Re: Woodland archery - what's the longest shot you get?
We've experimented with a combination. I've found that a bow and sword or a spear and sword are manageable but not so much bow and spear as both of your hands are being used to carry for the most part. I love the spear as a weapon and we practice with it probably more often than with the sword. It s...

Re: Cloak and Back Quiver
Elleth, I'll get you some photos of the strapping. I may have some in my files - if so, I'll post. But basically one strap comes off the top of the quiver and over the shoulder while a second strap comes around the waist with both straps connecting to a central brass ring. Good thoughts on the cloak...

Cloak and Back Quiver
This may have been discussed before. I looked through the posts but couldn't find anything recent. I was wanting to share my system of using a back quiver with a cloak - some may find it helpful. My wool cloak has a slightly larger sized than quiver slit that allows the quiver to come through the cl...

Re: I'm back and Wow! A Lot of Changes All Around! Warning: Pic Heavy
Thanks Elleth. Yeah, it's basically a glorified fanny pack but it's roomy enough for the essentials and doesn't get in the way. I usually don't take it off until I make camp but if I have to retrieve something in a hurry, I just have to spin it around on the belt to the side to see what's inside. I ...

When I always used to say "Middle-earth re-enactment", they'd ask me when we were having our next battle.
