Re: Please Read This Post
Now with a degree in writing, maybe I can turn in some readable stuff on the Bard's stage.  Perhaps selfish of me to say after you went through so much but that would be awesome! I would love to read more tales from your quill! Dang, not that it wasn’t impressive before but you definitel...

Re: First put together picture of my kit (pic heavy)
I’m sure you’ve seen it but just in case you haven’t, Udwin made a hat out of cattails that is exactly that. Check it out for some inspiration for sure. I’m sure he’d be happy to give some construction pointers if you need them.

Very cool. Thanks!
I think a hat made out of palmetto or palm fronds would be super cool. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Re: WETA Strider's bedroll
... I see all of a sudden (I think?) a number of renditions on Etsy, including one by our own Owl! I'm not planning on anything to my own queue, but I'm curious. Did new pictures of the WETA prop start circulating recently? Or is this just a case of a number of crafters following a genera...

Re: First put together picture of my kit (pic heavy)
It looks really good. Do you have a hat and shoes? No hat or hood as of now, I’m thinking of making one from palm fronds or saw palmetto but I need to do more research first. On the subject of shoes, I don’t have any period shoes, I just started use Teva hiking sandals, which I can’t recommend enou...

Awesome. I find it’s like medieval zip-off pants. If warm, you can cool down by leaving your legs bare. If cold, simple enough to add some winnegas or legwraps. Very versatile.

Both videos are absolutely delightful. You have a marvelous singing voice. What an adventure of a lifetime. I've been laughing at all different discoveries in Japanese culture you've made. I think the different vending machines have been my favorite so far.

Late as ever I can offer no greater praise than the others before me. A fantastic beginning. I more wanted to emphasise the comments here regarding modern safety and emergency gear. I unapologetically carry Epipens, a PLB, emergency blanket and a good snakebite kit on every adventure. Ooh, I should...

Fantastic stuff here, Erfaron. How do you like the half length pants? That's my preferred length since you can catch the breeze to cool down.

Re: An quick experiment with archery technique
here's a set of new traditional arrows I made: Late question but I really like those arrowheads you have. They seems to have a better aesthetic than the usual target points since they look more along the lines of bodkin. Well, I assume you use them for target practice. If so, do you have a link whe...

That bowl is awesome! I had him make me a pipkin a few years ago ( https://middleearthrangers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4436 ) and it's served me well. I was hesitant to put it over a fire a first, but a few dozen times later it's still doing its thing Thank you so much for the recommendat...

Not too bad. They've got a little wear n tear on them and they leak water in the seams but I still like them. I treated mine with beeswax and haven't had any leaks since. Weird question but how did you keep your beeswax from hardening as soon as you applied it? I've melted some to apply it on a pro...

I've said it many times before but I'll say it again. That is possibly the coolest early medieval garment I have ever seen. You look amazing and it fits the rough and wild character of Eofor perfectly. One of these days I would love to add one to my kit. It definitely is rather Rohirric in nature bu...
