Yeah, it did make more sense to me as well but I'm not sure, there might be a reference specifically to it being shiny in the text? I think someone else is would be more qualified to answer that question

That's awesome. Is he borrowing your gear, or did he acquire his own? it's all his, the belt and pouch are from his steampunk kit and I made him the surcoat for farther day, he also has a pair of leather vambraces but he forgot to wear them, and want's a cloak as well so that's Christmas sorted :P ...

Yep, I've been subscribed to his you-tube for quite a while, he does great stuff even if it's very experimental and not so well backed in history however I've done a fair amount of reading about the highland way of life and I can't really blame him, there is not much information to go on
