Dang, I really need to start dropping by more often. I'm missing out on some great threads. Greg, awesome review! The bow being 51" NTN threw me for a loop, because it looks so much shorter to me. In comparison, my horsebow is only an inch longer NTN, but looks far longer: http://i.imgur.com/ge...

Re: What would you think of a name change?
Aquaman sucks Aquaman has been pretty awesome for a while now. Total badass. As for the name, I can see why you guys would want to do it. Make the URL more focused for the forum's purpose. But I have to ask, what benefit would be gained? If you google "Tolkien ranger forum" or "Middl...

Re: Has anyone made the Sword of Truth??
The show was very typical of Raimi, but it was nothing like the books. If you like Xena and Hercules, then you would like this show. If you are expecting to see the books (or even a semblance of the books) on screen, well you'd better prepare for disappointment. I did like the actor who played Zedd,...

It's based on the sword form the show, not the books. Although if that's what Willrett was looking for, then kudos.

Yup, I've got a set and I couldn't be happier. Only place I'll buy target arrows from now and I recommend them to just about everyone.

I like that the rolled edges are flatter (though I understand why you made the new ones with thicker rolled edges), I like that the trimming and diamond in the center seem straighter, and I really like that insert on the inside-back of the quiver.

Gosh-golly-got-dang, Greg. Fantastic work!
I like some of the things about your old quiver better, but you can certainly tell where you've improved as a leather-worker. Craftsmanship on the new one is well and above your old one. It does, as you say, look less LARP-y.
