Small-Scale Community Media Project

It's a friendly atmosphere where everyone knows everyone, and we all get along. We've had very few iss...

Even the COVER just reeks of awesome. The cover for the second is, for lack of a better term, dwarf-tastic.

Any and All Fantasy Fiction Book Discussion

I've recently started (and finished) Markus Heitz's "The Dwarves", which is absolutely awesome. Not set in Middle Earth, but it's based around Tolkien and modern fantasy's standard of the Dwarf. He decided that it was their turn for the limelight. I'd be among the first to point out that T...

Re: Ranger pack and other items...

GREAT work, ken! Absolutely fantastic, well thought-out kit. Now get out there and TREK! The advantages of a two-strap backpack system are numerous. I have a 3-strap system where all the weight's still on one shoulder...you have to use it often for it to be comfortable. Your shoulder DOES ache after...

Re: Leaf shaped "Elven" Watch Cloak

Very impressive! I saw the pic of the leaf, and immediately began pleading that you'd do the design justice.

Oh BOY did you ever!

I agree with the previous sentiments...a nice forest green and a diet coke, to go, please!

Re: "Rolling" with the shield

I sometimes do solo drills with a short sword, I aquired Brughild, made by MAD Dwarf Workshop on the SFI classifieds, She handles great but obviously I cant use her for anything but solo drills as she is a sharp girl...a very sharp girl  A few questions, R.D.... For starters, do you have any p...

Re: Inexpensive Sparring Armor

Since posting this topic, David and I have sparred twice, and we've found that the best cheap torso armor readily available to us is donning one of my standard full-torso life jackets. Not the wrap-around-your-neck ones, but a full-vest PFD...well-padded and full coverage for shoulders, chest, sides...
