Good news next Saturday I'm taking my bow back to my bowyer he's gonna use a combination of epoxy and buffalo sinew. But if it should be needed he'll have a stave ready just to be safe. Thanks for your help and input.

Bow repair

I was inspecting my long bow and saw a spot on the lower limb that the grain came free is there a way that I can use sinew to repair it.

I agree being a traditional bowhunter it takes a great deal of time and even more patience to get game and squirrels can be down right annoying. I remember watching the Real Robing Hood on youtube and from the way it sounded they used the same bow for big and small game and just used different arrow...

Thanks it took some time and I'm thinking of ways to improve it. Yep I have a baldric I got the idea from the Sword of Truth series and thought that it was a good way to hand a sword.

A long time a go I bought there battle bota and I love it every year I go to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival I have it at my side it works great and the liner makes it really nice

I think Fableblades could have made better versions of the weapons in Lord of the Rings that would have been truer to the books
