Now I could have simply done that, but what fun would that be? Instead I added a leather grip, and a hand forged steel end spike. ...

Not sure if you've looked at this site or not, but they have a lot of different styles for reasonable prices. http://www.save-on-crafts.com/glassbottles2.html These in particular look like they would work well, and they come in bulk packages. http://www.save-on-crafts.com/mini-milk-bottle-favors.htm...

Re: A Tolkien alphabet book for my daughter.
Thanks guys! It was a fun project, and she asked me to read it to her every night for about four months in a row. We still pull it down from time to time, and she'll ask me to tell her stories about the different characters. It's such a joy to share something with her that means so much to me. Yeste...

That looks really good! The fact that you did all that for under 100 dollars is very impressive. Welcome to the group, and keep up the good work!

A Tolkien alphabet book for my daughter.
I made this over a year ago, but never got around to posting pictures of it. Since there are so many, I thought the easiest thing to do would be to share this Facebook gallery. https://www.facebook.com/TheRangersGearShop/posts/833566876752648 I wanted a way to start introducing my young children to ...
