forgive me for the OT question....but am I the only one here who has opted for modern boots with the rest of their more "period" clothing? I still wear my modern boots for the move into an area, but my mocs are in the bag and I change for around camp...they are comfortable but not my firs...

Everything I have heard about Armstreet is that they have terrific quality, but they are in the Ukraine and the times I find something I like from them, the shipping is almost as much as the item.

The only thing about the Andor boots that doesn't really work for me is the big thick lug sole. I don't mind thin vibram/neoprene soles since they largely look like leather and don't scream modern.
