I live in Anaheim, work in Moreno Valley, and do most of my training in San Bernardino. And I am always looking for someone new to hit with stuff, so that would be pretty cool.

A decent stainless hauberk is pretty easily attainable, a welded one might not be as easy though. Ringmesh is really your best bet. I have a shirt of ringmesh, and while they are extremely tiny rings, they are quite tough.
