Northman subforum?
With the pace at which Rhovanion/Northmen topics gets discussed i think it might be time that we get outown small subforum/section? Might be good to make it a general Rhovanion section, ad many of the things are not limited to the Northmen.

Re: The Garments of the Lake-men.
Excluding the master i did actually like Wetas Laketown, especially the architecture. It was one of their best work if you ask me. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/06/c1/a1/06c1a10858d479cf79a1edce1399d028.jpg Just mix it with archological art, and more grounded Lake-town depictions like this. http://...

Re: The Architecture of the Vale of Anduin
This depiction of a Nordic warrior fighting a dragon made by tolkien is not for middle earth, but we can still be inspired a lot by it. Perhaps the men of the Anduin dorn eagle feathers on their helms?

Hah, always have had the same though for the first oarman, with the flat front for his cap/hat! The hats of the EasternNorthmen seems like an idea worth exploring, i like the idea of it culturally tied with the Northmen identity, but having local versions and designs.

Re: Looking to have my kit critiqued part 2
Can you point me in the direction of the sources for this? I'd love to read. Your post on Lakemen/barding clothing was also a fascinating read, thanks so much! I was actually afraid that they didn't use longswords, but this is great news!! "beside them came the men of the Lake with long swords...

Re: Looking to have my kit critiqued part 2
If they do, might want to replace the handle with one of Viking asthethics, if your going barding, that is. Would be perfect for lake-men longsword.
