Re: Viking sword carry question?

I think I'll have to rewatch the extended edition. I'm gladdened that this has sparked such a spirited discussion.

Re: Viking sword carry question?

That truly is a beautiful blade. Haha thank you Greg for those rousing words of encouragement but I think that I'll keep this hobby besides my goal is to be able to use as much of my ranger kit as possible for bow hunting

Re: Viking sword carry question?

I'd be interested in seeing that as well. I may rework the sword and scabbard a bit this winter depending on how life goes it's something I've pondered before.

I know it's cheap but it's what I could afford. I may try the two straps that may work.

Viking sword carry question?

I've got a Viking sword with a button on the scabbard and I was wondering how best to carry it on my belt. Any thoughts?

Re: New gear

Thank you the black strip running down the quiver was a bit of a bear to sew but a mini mag and needle nose helped a lot. You are mostly correct Elleth the strike plate holds a hidden secondary propose. I used leather from a three pound bag of scraps and needed to piece together the bottom piece tog...

New gear

Here are two new pieces of kit that I recently finished. The quiver was a Bows of the Risen Son ranger quiver that I picked up last fall and it barely fit me. I took it apart and replaced the straps with old belts from thrift stores and added some scrap leather to reinforce the main seam and along t...
