Hi! New to this forum, here. Thought I'd pipe in on this thread, as I've made several helmets over the years, most of them based on Viking or pre-Viking designs. This first one is a loose interpretation of the Vendel XIV find, from about 600 A.D. It is not a terribly accurate reconstruction, though....
