Re: Which tunic?
Did you cut the bottom length of that tunic, Ghostsoldier? It looks longer on the website. It must be the angle of the photo Taylor, because it's the same length as when I made it about 15 years ago...all I did was dye it a grey color to repurpose it for Rangering, as it was originally a cream line...

Re: Which tunic?
Thanks, Taurinor! :P That looks really great! May I ask where you got your linen tunic under the suede one? I like the color combos and the brown is darker than their advertised pics, I like it! Thanks! It's a linen shirt I made from an old drop-shoulder Folkwear Poet's shirt pattern that I modified...

Re: Which tunic?
That's the one I have for my kit upgrade, and I can't say enough good things about it; it's really comfortable and is made of heavyweight leather (I chose the brown version). I even ordered the lace-on sleeve extensions for it, so I could have that option.

I've got to look into getting one of those! I'm currently sporting an American WW 1 mess kit, lol.

Re: Looking for some boot options
I’ve been eyeballing a pair of these for a while from Armstreet. They seem utilitarian and I’m hopeful the quality is as good as they look. Maybe this would be an option for you as well? https://m.armstreet.com/store/footwear/medieval-outdoor-fantasy-boots-forest Wow...thanks for the link! Thos...

Re: Looking for some boot options
Well that's disappointing to hear. Thanks for your pur honest impressions though! Very good to know for any other folks who might be considering them. Yeah, I was equally disappointed, as they looked promising on the website; the old adage of "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is&qu...

Re: Handmade bracers
Thank you for all of your kind words; building these was definitely a labor of love, but not one that I would enter into again lightly, especially for profit...it's fun to do for a hobby, but I don't want to make a business of it.

Re: Looking for some boot options
Actually, yes....I forgot to reply, as it has been quite busy this time of year. Sadly, I'll have to report that the Tilly jackboots fell well below my expectations, especially in quality and sizing options. I ordered a size 45 Euro (12 U.S., which is my boot size), and they were much too small for ...

Handmade bracers
Since others have seen it dutiful to post their latest acquisitions of Ranger gear, I humbly offer my meager contribution of leather arm guards/bracers/gauntlets for your viewing pleasure. I crafted these myself, using patterns gleaned from the internet, and a design elements that I composited using...
