Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
Due to some unforseen scheduling conflicts that have arisen, I'm going to have to cut my participation in this moot short. I now have to work on one of the days, as well as pick up a friend from the airport who has come across complications, so my changes will be as follows. Tuesday, meeting as usu...

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
So am I good to plan to bring my son? If so, there's some stuff I want to put together for him this weekend.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: A question about packs.
So hi to everyone, it' been a while. After allot of thought I have decided to go with my snapsacks. As i become more comfortable with building shelter from whats available I no longer need a large pack( yep the canvas fly i made is out for all but extended trips.). Im curently doing a rethink of al...

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
Looking at my calendar, I see that the only way I could make it Wednesday is if I bring my son with me. It's his Spring Break. We've gone on hikes that have lasted several hours, and so long as the trekking isn't too demanding, I don't have any concerns on that front (and frankly, being about 40lbs ...

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
By the way: there was no map posted in an earlier comment when you said to see 'the map below.'
And at this point, how many people are likely showing up?
Thanks.

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
Glad to hear it! Just a quick admission...this will be somewhat weather-dependant. Very much up in the air. If the nights are to drop too far, we may forego the nights and make this into a one-day trip around the woods through a dinner and then break for home on the Wednedsay. Nobody's going to die...

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
That'd be just fine. Let me know what time, and I'll set something up. Whether or not you join us for breakfast will be a bit of a toss-up, but you'll definitely need a lunch and dinner for the day. Will you be joining us in any kind of Middle Earth kit, perchance? If I can make it, it will be in M...

Re: Spring Indy Moot - March/April
[quote="Greg"] Straelbora, we'll need to know pretty soon what day, if any, you'll be coming by, and at what time, so we can plan that little "pick-up" accordingly if you're still able to come. I'll speak to my wife and see if I can finagle leaving earlhy Wednesday morning and co...

Just finished rewatching it, and I agree. There were parts that bugged me before that I guess I've softened on, and there are some really great parts that I really enjoyed seeing again.

VÃtejte! My mother's parents and my father's grandfather all came to America from the Tatra Mountains in Poland. I was lucky enough to visit my grandfather's village of Szczawnica years ago, and would love to return to the Carpathians one day for some long term hiking and camping.

Re: Already bought mine!
I've gone back and forth about whether I'm going to buy the theatrical version or wait until the inevitable extended version comes out. I've decided that I'll probably pick up a copy this afternoon. I wish I had some digital editing skills- I'd like to sit through a version without Poopbeard the Buf...

Re: New to the Forum
Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm excited to be a part of this community and hope to earn my keep. I do have one question that nags at me from time to time and would like your opinions on it. I mean no offense by this, but I notice several of you have significant others (like myself) and some...

Awesome. Are you having specific patterns or decoration put on, or is that something you'll do yourself?Manveruon wrote:I'm having him make a custom one for me right now. Pretty excited!

Re: Ancient Paths Traditional Archery
Greetings Rangers! Need to make a change to the price list that I posted at the beginning of this thread; It has become necessary to raise the price of the field tipped arrows to $120 a dozen, sorry about that. I'm in the market for a long bow. Are you still in business? I'm in Indy, but a native D...
