Which of the orcs took the chunk out of your shield? Actually none. In order to maintain my environmental friendly statis, I make all of my shields out of unlevened bread. This way if I get hunger, I can always chow down on a shield rim or the ever popular plum pudding shield boss. Should a piece b...

Rangering is more free than other forms of reenacting. Where we take Tolkien and other similar tales to use as a basis, we are not forced to live under the guidlines of what is directly history or someone else's interpetation. We interpete, create and get the opinions of others here. Many reenactors...

You just can't take a leasurely stroll in the woods anymore.

These pics were taken over 2 years ago. Chris and I were out taking a stroll in the woods (mind you The Lord of the Rings movies' final installment had recently come out so it was still in the minds of many adoring fans). http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn46/remlingp/006_16.jpg Chris and I were s...

Does the specific language count? I ask because I have access to Japanese Kanji, as well as a made up elven glyph-language. Is it the energy of the blade that you're containing? If so is it benevolent or malevolent? Would old cabalistic or alchemical symbols work? Not keen on Japanese (too recogniz...

It's a containment spell on the outside of a scabbard.

I'm looking for either a modern spell in an ancient script or an old spell in it's original tongue, provided that tongue has a written language.

If I can't get that then I'll do as you suggest.

Need help on a project

Working on a project and I need a little help. I need a containment/protection spell in symbols, an old written language or Elven. It needs to be able to be written/symboled vertically and can't be a modern language, just about anything else is up for grabs.

Thanks in advance.

You don't need a real fishing pole when you have a staff or a stick from the woods. The cork from your next bottle of wine or a small floatable stick from the ground. If you want handmade hooks, they are 3 for $6. A spool of linen thread isn't that expensive. You can make your own kit for less then ...

I have several spears. I'll see if I can get some pics tomarrow, My favorite is a leaf blade from MRL mounted on a haft a little over 6', so the total is a little over 7'. My next fav is a winged spearhear, also from MRL. Hanwei also makes a winged spear but as you'll see in the pics it's very thick...
