Sorry to say I won't be putting an entry in.... as much as I hate to admit it. Life is very busy and stressful lately, sparing little time.

Okay, so I was really hoping to get a couple of really decent fire shots on my camping trip last week. Alas, however, I was quite frankly way the heck too gall-dang cold and tired to set up anything resembling a decent photograph at any point when we could have gotten one involving our campfire. THEREFORE! I have decided to submit the following to the contest. This is from the wee hours of the morning, just after dawn, when I had recently awakened as a roughly human-shaped block of ice, and was attempting to slowly thaw my extremities by means of fire and camp-coffee. I realize that there is BARELY any actual fire in the frame of the picture, and I make no pretense at it being a "good" photo, but by God is it AUTHENTIC. I am AUTHENTICALLY MISERABLE in this photo, haha.

I was actually able to snap a couple of others of Bryan on the trip, so he should throw one of himself in the ring too, if I can convince him before the contest ends.

Haha, I do love teasing you guys. Actually, I'm in the middle of my write-up just now, but I need to find a better place to host all the pictures, because they won't all fit in my Photobucket. Soon though! Very soon, I promise!

It's technically not fair of me to be asking, since I keep torturing you...but my stuff isn't DONE yet...I can SEE yours right now! Lol...

I understand how busy everyone has been (I've been in the thick of things too).

I'd like to try to give everyone time to really dive into this and make a good effort, so I'm going be bold, and add on one more deadline extension...September 23rd, the first day of Autumn. I think the insanely hot weather a lot of us are experiencing has been preventive as well, so hopefully this will give us all a better shot at making this happen.

I still plan on getting a shot of my own taken, for participation's sake...hope to see some more up here soon!
