Turning from the bar.
Well, I feel like I've been here long enough to finally introduce myself. I consider myself a Jack of all trades, and a Master at several.
A long time fan of the Professor, I am excited by the renewed interest in Middle Earth due to the popularity of PJ's LotR's and Hobbit movies. For my part, I'll always be a fan of the Rankin/Bass films as well.
Looking forward to some great discussions and treks. I've a lot of work to do on my gear, but I've been at sea for so long, that my land legs are a little off. Give me some time to get my bearings, and I'm confident I'll have a lot to offer in return for all the information this forum is offering.
Now, who's buying the next round?

Greetings and welcome MasterStrong!
...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

Welcome, Ranger!
There are no safe paths in this part of the world. Remember you are over the Edge of the Wild now, and in for all sorts of fun wherever you go.

Thanks for the welcome, fellows! I'm already hip deep in projects and once I get going, I'll start posting more. Dividing ones time between reading the forum and running off to make/do the things I've read about is...well, consuming. Ha!

Welcome good Sir please feel at home!
