Lotsa stuff, hopefully as a lot...

Hi all!

I’m buried in “things-I-know-I’ll-never-get-to” projects, and I’m looking to clean out my workshop. Lots of stuff for sale: I’m not especially interested in trades, but it doesn’t hurt to make an offer.

Also I’m at the point where “time to pack boxes and get to the post office” is far more precious than silver to me right now, so I ABSOLUTELY will talk package deals.
(particularly still interested in a migration/viking era sword of decent quality as a testbed, will add cash for an especially good one.)

Prices otherwise do not include shipping: I’ll ship in the cheapest USPS priority flat rate box I can if it’s big: maybe a padded envelope if it’s small.

More detailed pictures over the next couple days, but here’s the whole shebang:

We have:

LINEN FABRIC LOT ************* $10
Stripes, checks, etc. Only enough there for pouches, etc. Maybe a couple yards total between them all? Maybe a bit more? Selling because they read to late period to my eyes, and I’m not doing 18th c. anymore.

(coins sold)

(pouch with belt sold)

LEATHER BELT POUCH AND COINPURSE ************* $40
Medium weight cow body, I think stiff goat flap / belt attachment, and brass medieval buckle. (Raymond? No-name Indian? Don’t remember). The buckle is off center *just* enough to notice, but I think it’s a simple fix if you care. Comes with a (fairly stiff) goatskin coinpurse.

GREEN WOOL HOOD (incomplete) ************* $15
Loosely stitched together, the front may be hemmed. Unlined

DOUBLE SHOT POUCH (incomplete) ************* $45
Started this from scrap ages ago thinking to sell it in the reenactor market. Lightweight cowhide, oil-finished, two-pouch design. Simple tooling and linen backing on the front flap. All it needs is final assembly and a strap.

MIXED TRADITIONAL ARROWHEADS ************* $10
** heads, mostly bodkin. Some from 3Rivers, some… eBay? I actually like the little pyramidal bodkins best of all of them, but don’t like any of them as a general rule. If they’re your thing, they’re cheap. (you may need to re heat treat the 3Rivers ones: I think they’re too hard)

SHORT HEMP STRAP AND LINEN CORD: ************* free with $40 of other stuff

(inkwells, antler sold)

LINED WOOL WALLET ************* $10
Originally made for my belt pouch for minor medical things. Don’t like how it came out. Needs a closure at the bottom.

HAVERSACK, CHILD SIZE (incomplete) ************* $25
Another one I started for sale, never finished. Cavas body, leather flap, linen lining, pewter button. Just needs a strap.

LEATHER STRAP AND IRON BUCKLE ************* $10 or FREE with shot pouch or haversack.
Najecki iron cartridge box buckle: originally intended for one of the bags above, don’t remember which. Only “” long, intended as the “bottom half” of a bag strap.

NARROW SWORD BELT HARDWARE ************* $10
Two strap ends with loops and a strap end, temporarily stitched onto leather: can’t remember if the leather’s walnut tanned or commercial leather dye, but it’s dark. Don’t remember the source of the hardware.

SNAP SACK BODY AND LINING (incomplete) ************* $45
This was my first foray down the snapsack road, but ended up going with a narrower body in my final build. This lacks the leather for a “spine” like in my current design, but that could be added with a lighter weight bit of cow, as I did on Ursus’ bag. Lining is started but not finished: I’m also including the linen canvas I normally use to strengthen the drawstring hole area.

HEAVY BURDEN STRAP ************* $75
Same one I tested in my “burden strap” thread in the Hard Kit forum. Great quality, just heavier than my needs. Use as is or cut it apart for the ~$140 (my cost) of bronze Shapeways hardware in it.

DEEPEEKA PUGIO ************* $45
Used it for decorating the classical section of our library. Have something better now. Unused/uncarried.

(knives sold)

(axe sold)

(buckle lot sold)

ANTIQUE SCISSORS ************* $20
As far as I know, these are original to 18th or 19th century. They need a tuneup I can’t do.

(aragorn buckle/plate sold)

STEEL BUCKLE WITH INTEGRATED PLATE ************* $20
Prototypes I ordered to test the design. One doesn’t have much space for the tongue, but some creative work with a needle file should still give you a good enough buckle. The other one’s fine.

LINEN LINED GOATSKIN COINPURSE ************* $25
Really happy with this little thing, but I’ve not use for it in the near future

NARROW GOATSKIN PURSE ************* $10
Narrow, kind of stiff. No lacing holes. Just didn’t turn out like I wanted.

Got some better pictures! :)

If it's still in the list above, even if it's not in one of the pictures below, it's still part of the package. (hood, scissors, etc)
