On page 5 of that issue of the newsletter, you'll find a drawing of the pattern. The two white seams don't have to be included...you can literally cut a half-circle out of fabric, and then cut the neck hole, the shoulder seam, and sew that seam together [minus hemming] and have a functional cloak. The Bocksten cloak is an extant garment that we’ve all be referencing - it’s a 14th century half circle cloak with a sewn neck closure.
