Not being the best at making footwear I've purchased and just received a pair of these -

While the soles are of modern construction the appearance as a whole fits my image of ranger boots. Plus I had the advantage that they were tailored made as I normally struggle getting footwear to fit properly.

I've only had chance to take them on a quick walk but first thoughts are good. I'll try and post a more detailed review when I get chance.
