Hard Kit is all other accoutrements that are not clothing, weapons or armour. This includes pots and tents, and flint & steel, and other things like that.

I'll have to pester Bryan to make sure he checks back on this site regularly I think, haha. But you'll be happy to know that he used this bottle on our trek in early July, and it was a real lifesaver! Worked like a charm, and looked quite handsome with his garb as well!
