Out in the cold and some updates.

Hard Kit is all other accoutrements that are not clothing, weapons or armour. This includes pots and tents, and flint & steel, and other things like that.

I guessed as much. Mine only comes out when other layers are absent and a touch of warmth is needed, or when it's freakin' WINTER and it's go big or go home time. That being said, you might try Braintan...breathes great!

What an inspiring kit! Everything looks very beautifully made and I love how everything comes together and doesn't look to hinder movement when you're on the move. I love the bedroll/snapsack set up, that's going to be my next piece of kit to work on and I may borrow heavily form your set up if that's ok. Le hannon for the inspiration!

Please feel free to! The actual inspiration and original concept for the bedroll/snapsack combo came from Elleth’s post as seen here. https://www.middleearthrangers.org/foru ... =27&t=4081

This is actually one of two kits that I use. My other one can be found in this thread minus several updates that have been made to several pieces.https://www.middleearthrangers.org/foru ... =27&t=3148. Though I suspect that I’ll gradually move to using this one as my go to setup.

Awesome thanks! I'll give both of those a read.
