New Finds- Please read the first post before replying

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

2/26 Windlass English 2 Hander starting at $90

Not really liking the blue dye on the grip and scabbard but that's an easy fix.

2/26 Windlass Hand and a Half Sword starting at $75

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SS:US:1123

same seller as the above piece

I think the link is gacked- all I get is a white page with no content.

Works fine for me. The only thing I can think of is that you may need to be a member of the linked site- Sword Buyers Guide.

I think that anyone interested in swords or obtaining one should join it and a few other sword sites. Sword Buyers Guide in particular as it offers a discount code for Museum Replicas products for an addt'l 10% off including their Deal of the Day items. This and the other sites also off a Classified selling Subforum where great deal on 2nd hand swords can be found.

You're not alone - I have a similar problem. I get a HTTP error 500, indicating the server is down. Curiously, a few days ago, I *was* able to go straight there to look at the Del Tin Moonbrand (or whatever) sword that someone had up. I went to register for the site, but haven't been able to get back on since. I am curious as to how Peter manages to get on - perhaps it's in his cache?

SBG was having some problems with their new migration, so that might be the case. I'd suggest you try again.

I'll say they're having problems! For a brief time over the last couple days I was able to get on, but not able to register. Now I find that once again they're offline. *sigh*

Turns out I am interested in both MRL/Del Tin products that you listed, and was seriously considering offering trades (esp. for the Moonbrand - I have some Roman/Viking stuff he might be interested in)

Yep, it's down again. If you want you can pm me with the offer and I'll contact the seller with your offer (as soon as SBG comes up) and your email address. I'm off today so I can check it every 2 hours or so.

Not the prettiest of pieces but, at this price it would make a great project blade.
