This would make a great short sword,,,,reminds me of the swords that came out of the barrows.

Five bucks says that pommel screws off, so removing the bronze grip and adding a wood-core something or other to make that a bit more functional for our purposes would be super easy. I normally gloss over things like this, but I have to say...Wulfgar's right. That really DOES line up a fair bit with the barrow-blade descriptions, and the scabbard is far above par for something in that price range.
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Its a Windlass piece and seems to be epoxied as I can't just unscrew the pommel and there is no indication of peening. Yeah it's a nice heavy shortsword.
