MRL Deal of the day

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

That looks identical to a set my father-in-law just gave me for my birthday. Cool-looking, but long and heavy. I think they'd be unwieldy to actually eat with.

Man, that's a nice price. Shaped somewhat like the Albion Sheriff, a sword I've been coveting of late.

I urge anyone that's on the shelf to buy this sword. The price is fantastic for what is IMO the best windlass sword ever made. With just a minimal amount of elbow grease you can have a well built and great handling sword that will be able to hold its own against much more expensive swords.

I also have two of these semi customizied. They are real easy to customize: Mine have been rewrapped and have insets in the pommels.

Nice as a stand alone or w/customization

Hero's Sword This is a huge two hander- probably not what your typical Ranger would carry maybe Bert left it back in the Troll Cave

Had my eye on one of these for a while.
Still round the corner there may wait a new road or a secret gate and though I oft have passed them by a day will come at last when I shall take the hidden paths that run west of the moon, east of the sun.

Damn I missed this! I would have bought a brace of these, they do throw quite well and at that price it's a bargain! :(
