A Case for Back Quivers

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

Oh, the Mirkwood quivers are certainly pretty, I've no dispute. :)

Anyhow, for a Dunedain waist quiver, I'd be inclined to look towards the Hedeby quiver Kortoso has mentioned. (Great writeup of a replica at the Leather Working Reverend's fantastic site here) If you want to Middle-earthify it some with some WETA work, I bet you could adapt the bands of their Horn of Gondor to the neck of the quiver pretty easily.

With a collar like that done in metal, it could look quite regal. Inscribed into the leather, I bet it'd look primitive enough to not draw notice in the Pony, but "Middle-earthy" enough to feel right, if you take my meaning.
Persona: Aerlinneth, Dúnedain of Amon Lendel c. TA 3010.
