For all of the Talk that doesn't fit elsewhere.

New Anti-Orc tactic seems to be working...

Post by caedmon »

Ok, about 10 days ago I put in a few new techiques that better keep out the automated bots. After running it for nearly two weeks the system has kept out all non-real users, so I am now going to take the next step, and make self-registration automatic again.

What this means is that legitimate new people won't have to wait upon me getting around to approving them...

Wish me luck...

Heads up! Wilburysa's webpage seems to be a nasty link. Norton blocked it. Might want to check it out.

Beornmann,

Good catch. Good news is that I had never activated that user account.

Many thanks,
