Don't know if I fall into this category, but I joined about a month ago and I must say, I feel quite welcomed. Thanks to all of you! You can expect me to continue to frequent the forum for a long time to come.

Well... that makes me the "newest" then, ey? :-) AND I already posted something in the Dunedain-Germany section... :P

Cheers for now,
Athárien

Ah, finally I am activated...I can talk! :P

I'm a young chap from Australia. I was searching ages ago for info about widfaran, and I found a post leading to this place on swordforums.
I was starting to think there wasn't anyone else interested in going down the non-larp, more practical side of recreating fantasy and historical living and trekking. Then I found meranger.com! It was everything I had been looking for. I look forward to some good discussions, and learning a lot. I haven't really got any gear as of yet, but have been researching stuff and keeping an eye out for bargains. It's an inspiration to see what you guys have come up with.

I hope this forum grows some more, so we can see more regular input. It was really quite difficult to find!

Greetings all!

And, much like Atharien, I've already posted, although in the WMA section.

I'm in southwest Pennsylvania, and former SCA, as well as a student of western martial arts, as well as eastern. Also some military experience, from many years ago.

Intrigued by the whole concept here. I think this is a very cool idea, combining aspects of the buckskinning concept, some medieval studies, as well as some of the coolest literature ever.

Looking forward to learning and sharing what I can.
