Greg- I'm new to the forum and live nearby in Indianapolis. I've been here a few years, but haven't had a chance to hike or camp in Brown County. If you'd like to coordinate for a hike to take more photos, we could put something together.

I even have an Elvish-looking hafling (my half Polish, half Chinese 3 year old son) as an additional prop!

Hey, welcome! I host lots of meetups in Brown County...I'll keep you posted. We do a few overnighters a year, as well as day hikes, hunts, etc. Keep your eyes on the "gatherings" forum for that kind of stuff. Glad to have you!

And from that day forward the name changed from the The Forum-Wide LOTR Picture Book project, to.....

"the year in which Greg learned patience"

Think of the week as a guideline, more than actual rules. :D

I'm going to claim the next chapter, since I've decided that I think I can do it justice. Pete, I'm gonna assume you're still waiting for the stupid snow to thaw, as are we all...take your time.

I'll also tentatively reserve chapter 6 for Ken, pending his approval, as I am DYING to see his Tom Bombadil.

Hey guys, just doing some cleanup. I moved the discussion of the Forum Wide Picture Book project to it's own thread so people could more easily see the pics people did. You can comment here or there, but every once in a while I'm going to do a little house keeping.

I have a question, Where do you find the pictures?
LOVE NOT THE BRIGHT SWORD FOR IT'S SHARPNESS OR THE ARROW FOR IT'S SWIFTNESS, BUT RATHER LOVE THAT WHICH THEY DEFEND
