Anything Bombadil-ish for me, has Fog on the Barrow-downs been claimed?

Okie I wil wait to see if there are any other takers but I will take either one. Fog will be fun, no matter who gets it!

Straelbora has agreed to pick up "In the House of Tom Bombadil."

Ken, "Fog on the Barrow Downs" is yours.

I'm gonna cheat. I've been waiting for an opportunity for awhile to do something like this...missed my chance years ago with the first photo contest. I'll take "At the Sign of the Prancing Pony".

Which means chapter 10: Strider is up for grabs, and we're finally booked a little ways out!

I'll take Strider if no one has dibs.

All right! Now we're--theoretically--rolling!

Up for grabs: A Knife in the Dark

Meanwhile, everyone should take some time to read through "The Old Forest" while Stormraven is working on generating his photo and quote. Any musings, thoughts, or new ideas that come to mind, this is where they go!

Okay Greg, I had a tough time with this one but I think I'm going to do the scene where the Hobbits come to Tom Bombadil's doorway and hear Goldberry singing. Here's the quote - more of a paragraph:
"Then another clear voice, as young and ancient as Spring, like the song of a glad water flowing down into the night from a bright morning in the hills, came falling like silver to meet them:
"Now let the song begin! Let us sing together
Of sun, stars, moon and mist, rain and cloudy weather,
Light on the budding leaf, dew on the feather,
Wind on the open hill, bells on the heather,
Reeds by the shady pool, lilies on the water:
Old Tom Bombadil and the River-daughter!"
And with that song the Hobbits stood upon the threshold, and a golden light was about them."

Let me know if this is okay. Won't be able to photograph until Saturday, August 2 when my people will be here. Maybe can post by August 3.

It's not my job to approve the quote. It's up to you!

Brian, it's yours. Now we're rolling!

First post updated.

We'll hold off on opening up book 2 until we're pretty close to completing all of book 1...I'd like to complete a milestone before we start dreaming too big.

Had a slight delay in my photo opportunity. Will try to get done this week. Just FYI.

Hey Greg. Did the photo and posted the quote but when I went to upload the photo, it says it is too large. What do I do at this point. The picture size is like 1.57 Mb and I don't think I can crop it - I'd lose too much image.
