"FolkOfTheWood" etsy shop - is that anybody here?
I was browsing DeviantArt pictures and saw some really nice work - and that the creator linked to their etsy page:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/225968676/ ... -the-rings
They're in Indiana, where I know we have some people.
Are they / you here on the forum? Or is Indiana just extra lousy with Rangers?

I spent four years in Indiana, and NOW we find out about these people? Sheesh...

I've watched their shop for some time. They do nice work, and they seem to be nice people, too. I've been using a lot of their images as inspiration for my upcoming Ithilien Ranger costume-build lately. I don't believe I've ever seen a connection with this forum, but they would certainly fit right in.

They don't appear to have any trekking history, and are more of costumers...but folks like that are generally easy to bring over to the dark side.

Haha, speaking as a convert myself, I can safely say you are correct in that assertion.

They are nice people she was going to make my Strider duster prior to me finding one I can alter. She can make other elements and does really nice work. If you want a pre bought kit if you really just enjoy rangering as a costume or a ren faire or Larp persona, this is the place.

Realize this is an old thread, but thought I'd say 'hi'! I'm Amy Bradley, the creator of Folk Of The Wood, and the Ranger costumes pictured above. That was taken in Mounds State Park, in Anderson IN. Working with leather and making Medieval inspired costumes is my passion. Just joined this forum, it looks like a wonderful group of people here! We regularly check messages on Etsy & Instagram @folkofthewood if anyone ever has questions/comments.

Welcome!
You pretty much live in Ground zero for Middle Earth Trekking as a hobby. I'm a current resident of Columbus, though I'm moving up to the Martinsville/Waverly area shortly. We'll have to try to connect with you guys at some point and show you what we do! Members here converge on Indiana infrequently from Kentucky, Wisconsin, and the surrounds, so you're in good company!

Welcome, I have looked through your website several times, some really amazing stuff

Welcome, Amy! I'm so glad you reached out to me on Instagram and got your forum account all figured out! I've been following your work for some time, both because of ranger stuff and because of Etsy (my wife and I run the Castaway Trading Co. on there). You guys have certainly made quite a name for yourselves among the Tolkien/reenactment/LARP community, so it's great to see you pop in to our humble forum! Cheers!
