'Iceman' film trailer

Post by Udwin »

Saw this from a caveman buddy of mine, thought I should share.

(Apparently it will premier in Italy next Tuesday...hopefully to a wider release!)
I have to say, it's about time we finally get a quality, grounded-in-reality, Neolithic adventuring film! This looks like it could be 'Quest For Fire' for the early Copper Age. What do you folks think?
Personae: Aistan son of Ansteig, common Beorning of Wilderland; Tungo Brandybuck, Eastfarthing Bounder, 3018 TA; a native Man of the Greyflood, c.850 SA

Intriguing. The trailer kind of made me think of a copper age mash up of Jeremiah Johnson meets The Revenant.

Wow. Possibilities of being really cool. I'm not sure if his circumstances have been completely established, but this would be a dramatization anyway. Interesting to hear an attempt at whatever pre-Indo-European language they might have spoken.
And of course the copper axe!

And Franco Nero, too.

Oooooh.... that looks good.

That might almost be enough to get me to the theater for the first time in ages. Cool!

I could do with a spate of pre-history movies. :)

I'm sorry, 'realistic'? There are absolutely no dinosaurs or fur bikinis. I don't know what sort of whack Pre-history these guys are selling, but they have no concept of reality.

That second film, Ellet, has an intriguing premise. Looks interesting!

Cool, but haven't we now seen 98% of the film's plot?
