Gil Galad was an Elven King... WOOOO

Post by Elleth »

New Clamavi De Profundis piece just dropped -

They've done a fair amount of covers of the film stuff, but they've got deeply moving settings for some of the Professor's lyrics as well: their "Lament for Boromir" is heartbreaking.
Persona: Aerlinneth, Dúnedain of Amon Lendel c. TA 3010.

OoooooOOOOOOhhhhhh! That's lovely!
I've always been a big fan of the version Sam sings in the Brian Sibley radio adaptation - the melody is so simple and seems so natural. But for something a little more... I guess... fantastical? This is pretty great. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the post.

I always liked that poem.

While I do like this version, I found it almost overly dirge-y if that makes any sense.
