Post by Peter Remling »

Between now and Christmas Eve, nominations for this years Ranger of the Year are now open. On Christmas Day I will create a poll of your nominees and you will have until New Years Day to cast your vote. All members are able to vote. On New Years Day I will announce the winner and the winner will receive a prize. This years prize has been donated by Elleth, that will be announced at a later date.

I would like to nominate Udwin, for his tireless work on the newsletters. I know the accolades he gets do not come close to the hours he puts in creating a resource for us and others.
Persona: Aerlinneth, Dúnedain of Amon Lendel c. TA 3010.

Flattered though I am at the mention, I must respectfully decline the nomination given the fact that I have been horribly inactive lately - but no wholeheartedly second Elleth!

While I'm very humbled at the nomination, I'd like to recuse myself again this year - if for no other reason than I got to provide the present, so it'd be kinda pointless.

Good luck all!

The nominations close tomorrow so if there are any other nominations, please get them in now.

Elleth had asked me to hold off on the announcement of what the prize is. Now that her recipient has announced what he received and she has started a thread on the pennies it's safe to say what her offering is. Twelve of her newly minted silver pennies ! I'm also including a novelty prize more of a gag gift, so be warned ! :P
