Ranger Workout Thread

Post by Aravir »

Hey all,

Again I’ve been scouring forums, sites and YouTube for some potential Ranger style workouts that would further enhance abilities in the field.

Tracking is an obvious asset, where endurance matters. I was trained when I was still in the US Army at an auxiliary Combat Tracker School, specializing in the human kind of course.

I came across a potentially useful video where a guy does Parkour and MovNat like movements in a forest in Sweden.
Looks very useful as a “functional” workout, have a look!

If anyone has any workouts or programs they’d like to recommend I’d greatly appreciate it. Seems beneficial for all, now going into the New Year it would be great to get out of the indoor gym and back out into the woods.

As far as ranger work outs, I used to bench press that heavy ranger sword you got on the way. *wink*
