Looking good Elegost! There's a kind of forlorn lonliness that comes through that perfectly expresses what it must be like to keep a solitary vigil.

You pegged that exactly, Kaelin! He looks very weary there, as if he has been in the Wild for a bit too long. Great shot, again!

If I can dig it out, I've got a grand total of ONE to post. The others caught too many modern things in the shot. Let me see if I can find my "Last thing. . . " shot.

Okay, I managed to get a few taken last weekend. No comment about having snuck various weapons into various state parks in order to do so...

1) In The Shire:

2) The Last Defender of Sarn Ford:

3) Look To The Black Ships:

4) The Last Think They'll Ever See:

5) The High Seat of Amon Hen

Very nice. :)

This state is enamored of mandatory prison sentences. I tread carefully around here. 'Nuff said on that score.

Outstanding pics, Chris! Love the hi-rez versions, especially the Shire pic.

Likin' the maille; keep wearing it! You look a positive member of the grey company, with hood cast over helm and head, my good sir.

I must say, some of my favorite forum pics ever have come out of these contests...glad y'all are still going at it! I love your Sarn Ford pic...and I think I need to make a hooded cowl now, for when I don't wanna lug around a cloak during the hot summer months (of course, right as I've run out of hot summer months. I'm always just a tad behind, it seems...'tis my curse.)
