My ranger satchel

A lot of reenactment level work is about learning appropriate historical crafts and skills. This board is for all general skills that don't have their own forum.

My ranger satchel

Post by Shadowhawk »

Okay, so i haven't posted anything in here for a while, work and school seemed to suck all the energy out of me for a while. Made, purchased and modified a lot of stuff while I was gone though. Here's one that proved more useful than expected. My leather satchel or knapsack or whatever you wanna call it (preferably not a purse). Holds most of the stuff I need for a days trip and with my hammock and stuff on my belt added I can be pretty comfortable for up to 3 days. Also I have been using it to carry my school stuff occasionally.

I like the star. :)

Are there interior pockets as well? Or one big compartment?

Its just one big compartment, more versatile that way in my opinion.

Good job, I made a large on several years ago, and attached my quiver to it...very functional.
In the darkest part of Sherwoods glade, in the thickest part of the wood, there are those who say, can still be seen, the ghost of Robin Hood.

Looks great! Highly functional! Reminds me of the one I made a year or two back.

If that's all you take with you for three days, I'd love to see your load out list!

Awesome Work :P
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

Cool! I'm seeing this one in an entirely new light after finding out about the Loch Glashan satchel.

Fun seeing how some solutions just keep coming up over the millennia. :)
