Stealth and stalking

Post by Kortoso »

A couple of different approaches toward stealthy walking. Notice that the ninja places his toes on the ground first, then rolls the rest of the foot in place, while Tom Brown III places his heels on the ground first.

There are no safe paths in this part of the world. Remember you are over the Edge of the Wild now, and in for all sorts of fun wherever you go.

In Wildwood Wisdom, Ellsworth Jaeger mentions both.

I'm surprised re: Tom Brown III...his dad (I believe it's his dad, anyway) advocates the Foxwalk in his book, which starts at the outer (little) toe, and rolls in and towards the heel, much like the "ninja" was shown to do here.
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Yup, that's Tom Brown Jr's son, called T3. :)
